TORONTO, CANADA – March 8, 2018 – ARHT Media Inc. (“ARHT” or “the Company”) (TSXV:ART), a global leader in the development, production and distribution of high quality hologram content through its patented Augmented Reality Holographic Telepresence technology, is pleased to announce that the Company’s new and state-of-the-art H10 Holographic Telepresence Display was recently featured at the British Education and Training Technology Exhibition (Bett) 2018, which is the largest technology conference in Europe with approximately 35,000 attendees.
“Our ARHT holograph presentation as part of the Promethean exhibit landed us on local BBC news, a page in the Evening Standard and the cover of the Independent Business section at BETT 2017,” noted Rory Elliott, European Sales Director of ARHT Media Inc. “However, having the smaller scale units, that can be deployed in lecture halls and classrooms anywhere, has garnered much greater commercial interest across Europe at this year’s show. We are launching these in the EMEA regions (and further afield) this year connecting the world’s best lecturers, professors, and students in hologram form.”
ARHT’s technology was featured as part of the Promethean Worldwide presentation which showcased its latest technology innovations at Bett as well as its focus and commitment in working with leading technologies to create a new world of immersive learning and addressing hot topics in education. With a vast global reach, Promethean has more than 650 employees focused on the provision of the sale and distribution of education technology solutions which can enhance key learning capabilities for schools, students, and teachers.
“We envision a global network of ARHT Engine powered capture and display points that will enable the best subject matter experts, and educators, to share their knowledge with a worldwide audience, either pre-recorded or live,” continued ARHT CEO Larry O’Reilly, “and the quality of our holographic presentation will engage and inspire students in the same way as if the lecturer was actually in the room with them.”
