“Sheikh Hamdan’s hologram speech wows WGS audience”

We had the honour of working with the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at this year’s World Government Summit that took place in Dubai from February 10th to the 12th, 2019. Sheikh Hamdan appeared as a hologram during his session on February 11th, 2019 titled ‘The 7 Shifts Shaping Future Cities.‘
His talk focused on the seven major transformations that will take place in the cities of the world and while addressing the audience, Sheikh Hamdan said “cities are the foundation of the future. They are the cradle of ideas and a source of capital. Countries are nothing but a bundle of cities.” He added, “the future is intimately related to the city of Dubai. Many of the world cities look at Dubai being a city of the future. But the future is not just about technology, it is about the potential of the human being, innovative ideas and tolerance.”
To support his speech, Sheikh Hamdan presented a dynamic series of visual aids, imagery and video, created by London based Four:55 studios, to accompany his hologram and reinforce that we need to utilize the power of innovation & creativity to help set the path forward for cities in the future.
He went on to say that Dubai continues to be a model for future cities, much in credit to his father, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has built a metropolis that continues to be more advanced than other countries.
By utilizing ARHT Media’s Holographic Telepresence technology combined with the dynamic visual content, displayed on massive video walls on each side of our holographic display, Sheikh Hamdan was able to add a whole new immersive dynamic to his message. Bringing a sense of the future to the audience at the summit in beautiful 4K visual quality. The event staging and setup was made possible in partnership with Dubai based GAME Commercial Photography Production LLC and SNAP Live Theatrical Show Production LLC.
